Lucky Mud: Links

Cdbaby/lucky mud
The best independent music source, ever! Check out all seven of our CDs - Our latest is Lucky Mud Live at the Martin Theatre (volume 1), a collection of 16 original Lucky Mud songs with the weekly radio intro, followed by Ride the Pony, our first CD recorded at our new home studio - Southern Zen Productions - also all original songs, then there's The Tinkers (Our Celtic Roots), a collection of Celtic songs both standards and originals....Karmageddon, 14 more originals from Maggie and Michael, Slippery Slope with the exquisite violin of Janine Newfield as the third voice, and Southern Zen, our first studio CD (and the name of our publishing company). Then there's Underneath the Florida Moon, originals we're very proud of, though obviously recorded on a BOSS mini-studio in the living room of our old Florida Cracker homestead after a hurricane destroyed Studio 812 one summer day. You can purchase or preview any and all of them on this site. CD Baby also provides links to other artists who are similar to Lucky Mud. So check us out! Cdbaby does everything with class & style.

Maggie's Farm on Econfina Creek
Maggie's Farm is the end result of a lot of touring, lots of music and a long-simmering idea. Lucky Mud (Maggie and Mike McKinney) own a 7 acre farm near the pristine Econfina Creek in the Florida panhandle. The photos on this site are of Maggie's Farm and a little of the local area. Over the next year, it will become a place for music - both local and touring musicians - and THE place to gather to discuss a green world and how to make it happen. Keep in touch with Mud here for new developments.
